My story

Meet Beckham! Beckham entered Riverside Shelter as a stray, and after some time passed with no one coming to claim him, he became a Frosted Face! Since then, this gentle soul has been on a couple of Frosted Flings and is currently enjoying a loving foster home while he waits for someone to bring him home forever. His foster mom shared this sweet update: "I've had Beckham here for about four months. He is the absolutely sweetest, kindest elder dog I've ever met at Frosted Faces. Beckham eats anything but prefers wet food and mini kibble. He loves to eat, so he should be monitored if he finishes first and heads to see if there's leftovers in others' bowls. Beckham naps often, follows my dogs through grassy parks in a harness, and rides in a stroller so I can pop him out to sniff. He has to be carried down stairs, but he doesn’t mind. I carry him like a baby, and he kisses my nose. Beckham knows how to find what is important: where the food, water, chew toys, beds, and I am. He stands quietly when I scoop him up, like Eeyore in Winnie the Pooh, then toddles off with his curly head down. Beckham is sweet, silent, calm, accepting, and loves attention. He just wants to be near his people - he's not clingy or demanding. He would do best in a calm house with however many dogs or cats will make room for a doddering old fella."
