My story

For the well-being of our dogs, our kennels are closed to the public for general viewing. If you are interested in one of our dogs, please call 1-800-452-0114 for more information or stop by our shelters 12:00pm- 4:30pm, 7 days a week and speak to one of our adoption counselors.~ I can live in a any size home, including apartments. ~ I want to live with dog-savvy kids who can be gentle with pets.~ I need to be the only pet so I can get all the attention.*~ I enjoy time to relax and lay around, but I also have my moments of energy and would like to get regular exercise every day. I need a family who can adapt to my exuberant play style.~ I am a great dog with lots of potential. I need a family with general dog experience.~ I have some special needs but still have lots of life to live and love to give. Please ask the adoption counselor to explain when you visit with me. I have some allergies and need a family who can keep up with my treatment to keep me looking and feeling my best.Peppa (or Peppa Pig as her friends know her as) is a lovable house hippo looking for a new couch to occupy. Peppa really is the best of both worlds: she loves her neighborhood walks and boasts excellent leash skills, but is also a super snuggly girl who loves to spend plenty of time every day lazing about. Peppa is very affectionate with her people and would be happiest with someone who wants to spend lots of quality time together every day. As an adult dog, Peppa has good house manners and has shown to be potty trained and non-destructive with household items or her belongings. She loves stuffed toys and will gently toss them around by herself or play with people. Peppa does have some boundaries about being the only pet at home, but is a very person-social dog who would be happy to hang out with your friends and family with a proper introduction.
