My story

Meet Forty, born 5-31-2024 – The Sweet, Shy Little Gentleman If you're looking for a gentle, sweet soul with a heart of gold, Forty might just be the purrfect match for you! Like Theodore from Alvin and the Chipmunks, Forty is the shyest and most cautious of his three brothers. He tends to take his time warming up to new people and situations, but once he feels comfortable, his affectionate side shines through. Forty absolutely loves to play with his siblings, especially games of hide and seek, and he enjoys showing his love by cuddling up and playing right after. Although he's a bit more easily startled than his more outgoing brothers, his tender nature makes him an incredibly sweet companion who will always be there when you need a snuggle. Forty is a playful cat and needs to be adopted into a home with another cat with whom he can play and socialize. He can be adopted into a home with a resident cat, or if you are in the market for a pair of cats, Forty would thrive in a home with his sister Blossom. If you're looking for a quiet, loving kitty who just needs a little time to come out of his shell, Forty could be the one for you! All kittens must be adopted with another kitten or into a home with another young cat with which he or she can play and socialize. The majority of no-kill rescues nationwide adhere to this policy. This policy is NOT based on a desire to increase our number of adoptions, rather it ensures that the kittens we rescue, nurture, and love are adopted into homes that offer the best possible environment for their social development.
