My story

Lola interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for cat parents with either an average amount of cat experience, demonstrate a basic understanding of typical cat behavior, and would do best in an adult-only home.My foster writes: Very well-behaved cat, part time job is a baker making biscuits on blankets. Sleeps like a croissant. Can't find her? Try shaking any treat bag and you'll be able to summon her from anywhere, works every time. Using the restroom? You might catch her outside waiting for you, got to make sure the toilet monster doesn't take you away. She may be eating, but never too hungry for head bunts, she'll stop eating and head bunt you if you stick your hand out. Always curious, if you're going somewhere she might just follow or walk besides you.A volunteer writes: I am compelled to love Lola because she reminds me that figuring things out isn't magic. It takes time and patience, sometimes a little trial and error and a reminder that navigating new terrain can make us come across differently. Lola's funny and charming, though I'm not entirely sure how much of it is intentional. When she first sat down with me, Lola huffed herself into a circle with a series of exaggerated sighs. It was as though she couldn't quite believe where she's found herself now. Then, she happily became distracted by a sunspot and gazed out the window in pure joy. A kitty in sunshine will always grab my heart, so I paused to admire but before I could gather my thoughts, Lola started hopping after a pipe cleaner feather. She wasn't so interested in pets and might be a little all over, but she means well and is certainly trying her best. For anyone who has struggled to make sense of new normals, Lola is definitely the cat to open your heart to. She's waiting at the Queens Care Center to meet you. Primary Color: Brown Tabby Weight: 11 Age: 6yrs 9mths 1wks
