My story

Hi! My name is Finch and I would love to find a home to call my own! I lived with two adult cats in my foster home and they were my best friends so I would also do great in a family with a furry sibling to help me adjust to new surroundings. When I first got to my foster home I was very scared and would hide under the sofa, but she gave me time and love and taught me to trust people and not to hide anymore. I am shy with new surroundings and the shelter is scary for me so I would love playing with all my toys and watching birds out the window in a home of my own. My foster thinks I'm smart, playful, and learn things quickly, and in time will be a big snuggle bug. I used my litter box without any issues, ate all my food and happily welcomed her at the door after work. I am not scared of the vacuum (or my foster mom's singing) and I will sleep with you at night if you let me! I will let you hold me and snuggle me once I get to know you and your sweet, soft voice. I love ear and belly rubs and welcome kisses! Please give me a chance to be part of your family!My foster writes:This little sweetheart has come a long way and would do great in a home with another cat since he loves to play and cuddle with them! He quickly adapted to our daily routine and uses the litter box with no accidents. He isn't a fussy eater and patiently waits for his meals and treats. He is still a little unsure of people and would need patience and continued interaction so he can truly flourish-but don't let that deter you! When approached slowly with soft voice, he will allow snuggles, pets, kisses and rolls over for belly rubs so he's becoming more trusting every day. He is playful, smart and has lots of kitten energy and is a good fly catcher but can also spend the day on the windowsill sleeping and watching the birds. Soon he will be a total love bug-he just needs a little time to get there. Please adopt Finch and help him be all he can be in loving home he deserves!
