My story

Meet Melody Rose! This beautiful girl has been waiting with Paws for her furever home for 365 days! One Full Year!!Melody arrived in September 2024 with a heavy belly full of musical meatballs that have long since found their furever homes. Melody is such a sweet pup. She's kind of a velcro girl. She loves being with people. She'll climb out of her kennel to get back to you. She's playful. She likes fetch and going out to walk a bit. Melody enjoys the dog park as well. Melody is a fast learner. She's learned good leash skills and basic commands. Her adopter should be willing to continue working on those skills and perhaps help further them by hiring a trainer.  Melody has been with a foster for several months. They state she is the perfect houseguest. She is chill, housetrained, enjoys laying around watching TV/Movies with them, and getting tons and tons of lovin!! She also likes watching out the window to see whats going on in the world. The family has another dog that she loves to play with and does well with their cat as well.  Melody has a fully sponsored adoption fee to an approved adopter.  Melody is heartworm positive and has been undergoing treatment. She's over half way done and the remainder of her treatment will be covered by Paws if adopted before its finished.
