My story

Lennon is available by consultant. Please contact Kymber, Shelter Manager, at 440-506-3055. Lennon is doing amazing in her foster home. Here are some notes from her foster: Lennon is mild-mannered, patient and a fast learner. She is potty trained and crate trained, she understands the command “go to crate”. She knows the following commands: sit, down, stay, come, stop (when on a leash). Lennon does well on the leash and understands the command “no pull” if needed. She knows at mealtime to sit and wait for the command “okay” as her food dish is put in place. Lennon enjoys being close to people when she lies down or sleeps. She is not reactive to dogs and likes to approach people when outdoors. Every now and then you meet a dog you just can't understand how anyone could have let go. Lennon is definitely one of those dogs! She is absolutely stunning with her soft, chocolate coat and amber eyes. Out of her kennel she is sweet, cuddly, and ignores the other dogs passing by. She is listed at approximately 1.5 years old a Labrador Retriever mix. She would really like a home with a new family where she can be the only dog. Come meet her today! This dog is eligible for up to three in-home training sessions after adoption! These sessions are led by someone familiar with the dog’s training, personality, and needs. They’re a great way to ease the transition, answer questions, and help everyone start off on the right paw. The shelter is open Tuesdays through Fridays 3:30-6:30pm AND Saturdays & Sundays 1pm-4pm.
