My story

Minnie von Moritz is a beautiful, 3-year-old German Shepherd. This delightful girl deserves an A+ in just about everything: easygoing, housetrained, riding in car, walking on leash and socializing with adults, children and other dogs. What else could anyone want? Minnie sleeps in a playpen at night and is first in line to cuddle with you in the morning. She was abandoned at a local park minus any collar or ID, but now she is microchipped and up to date on her vaccinations. Looking for a perfect addition to your family? Ask to meet Minnie! Mixes are "softer" and somewhat more malleable. Exceptions can be made, however, for first-time adopters who show the confidence and leadership tendencies that purebreds will respect and respond to. Counselors have to use good judgment in assessing the attributes of the adopter, as well as of the dog. If you have doubts, get a second opinion from Robin or another experienced counselor.
