My story

Hi, I’m Winchester – your bouncy, goofy, forever-fun best friend in waiting! I’ve been at the shelter for a while now, but I just know my perfect match is out there! I am definitely a favorite of the staff and volunteers here at the shelter – and for good reason! I’m a high-energy guy with a big heart and an even bigger personality. If you're looking for a dog who’s always ready to play, explore, and make you laugh, I might just be your guy! I do great with kids who can handle my enthusiasm and zest for life – I’m all about fun and affection, but I can be a bit much for tiny humans. I also enjoy the company of other dogs, especially ones who match my energy level and love a good romp. Cats, though? Not my thing. One of my signature moves is my joyful bunny hops in the yard – seriously, you’ve got to see them I’m goofy, lovable, and full of life, and I’d thrive in an active home that can keep up with my spirit and give me the love and structure I need.
