Meet Rhett – The Gentleman with a Heart of Gold 🧡🐾 Rhett didn’t end up at Castoff because he did anything wrong. His people surrendered him — and while we won’t get into the details, let’s just say this boy deserved better. And now? That’s exactly what we’re fighting to give him. ✨ At just around a year old, Rhett is already a sweet, beautiful boy with the kindest eyes and the most stunning, velvety coat you’ve ever seen. 🐕‍🦺🌟 He turns heads without even trying — but it’s his gentle soul that really steals hearts. Rhett recently graduated from the Colwell Rescued Detainee Program 🎓, where he lived with and was trained by a dedicated handler who taught him all the basics. Sit, stay, leash manners — you name it, he’s learned it. He’s got that perfect mix of young-dog energy and gentlemanly charm. 💼🐶 He loves people and is eager to please, and we believe with a little time and a lot of love, Rhett will blossom into the loyal, loving companion he was always meant to be. 💕 🐾 What Rhett’s dreaming of: 🏡 A kind, patient family who will give him the life he’s never had 🌳 Lots of sniffaris 🦴 Lots of love, walks, and maybe a cozy couch of his own Rhett’s story didn’t start out with sunshine 🌧️, but that doesn’t mean his future can’t be bright 🌈.
