My story

Hello, my name is Sooty! I`m a playful yet a little bit shy 10-month-old short-haired black kitty with the softest coat and gentle personality. I love to play and really enjoy the company of another kitty - they help me open up. I might take a little bit of patience, but the end result after I open up is all cuddles and purrs. I get along great with kids and adults and can’t wait to be your new best friend.Some of my favorite things? Snuggling into warm blankets, “helping” you watch TV, chasing after wand toys, and crunching on yummy treats. With my silky black coat and loving nature, I’m ready to bring endless cuddles and joy into your home.My adoption fee of $25 includes up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and heartworm/flea prevention. Plus, a microchip that is already registered to you! What more could you ask for?If you`d like to meet me, please fill out an application on our website, PawmettoLifeline.org. Adoptions are by appointment Tuesday through Thursday, Friday and Saturday are walk in from 10-5. Please fill out the online application, and you will be contacted if you are approved and are a good fit for one of our adoptable pets.
