My story

Intake date 10 October 2024 . 31 lb, neutered male black and white rough coat, DOB 9 April 2012 . PUPDATE: 16 October - Bingo is a super sweet boy who adjusts to whatever comes his way. He`s met lots of new humans and a few dogs in his time in foster and has had zero issues. He is not particularly dog focused but has no concerns with other dogs he has met. Bingo very much wants to be with people and in the middle of things, but he`s not clingy, happy to lay in the next room when things settle down in the house. He is situationally housebroken with no accidents in the house; he lets people know when he needs to go outside. He crates quietly at night and when the humans leave the house. Bingo is a lovely boy, settled with his age but still happy to run in the yard, with no indications of hip or joint discomfort at the end of the day. He`d very much like to have his own special human again. **** Bingo came to us through a shelter partner after his person passed away. Bingo is a senior pup with fairly normal senior dog issues -- he needs a dental, has immature cataracts, and a low grade heart murmur. Bingo is looking for a soft retirement home landing with folks who enjoy senior dogs and the quiet life. As Bingo has only recently arrived, we will post additional information as we get to know him. . This dog is located in Maryland - we do not ship or transport dogs. We do not `test` dogs with children or cats, since testing here will not show an accurate picture, and may give potential adopters false comfort. If a dog has lived with children or cats, that will be stated above. We do not place dogs as ESA, nor will we place a dog as hypo-allergenic. Applicants interested in adoption of a potential service dog must be working with an experienced trainer. .
