My story

Hi, I’m Joe! I’m about a year and a half old, and my sister Jolene and I were saved from a high-kill shelter just hours before we might have lost our lives — talk about a close call! Thanks to some amazing humans, I got a second chance to find my forever family. Just like any dog in a new situation, I need a little time to adjust and warm up — but once I do, I always show my love and affection without a doubt. I’m all about cuddles, playtime, and sharing my favorite toys. One thing I’m really proud of is how great I am with kids! I love their energy, and I’m gentle, patient, and playful — a perfect buddy for playtime or quiet cuddles after a long day. Having a yard to run and explore with little friends is my idea of paradise. I also get along well with other dogs and love hanging out with my foster siblings. I’m kind of like a doggy apprentice, following them around and learning how to be the best dog I can be! I’m housebroken, full of love, and ready to be your loyal, playful companion.
