Meet Unca – Your Lovable, Big-Eared Adventure Buddy!Unca is a sweet, 2.5-year-old pup who recently got to enjoy a weekend getaway through our Paw Pass Adventures foster program—and she was a total star! Her foster couldn’t stop raving about how well she did.Unca walks nicely on a leash (just an occasional pull when she’s excited) and traveled like a champ. Aside from one little whine on the first drive, she quickly became a road trip pro—loving to perch her paws on the center console, quietly watching the world go by. She’s a quiet dog overall, only vocalizing twice the entire weekend!She had a great interaction with a little girl during a walk—Unca was calm, friendly, and happy to be petted. She’s full of playful energy, loving games like tug-of-war or tossing around her beloved stuffed octopus. When she’s not playing, she’ll happily chew on a toy by herself. She’s medium-to-high energy, happily walking 3–4 miles and still ready for more fun afterward.Unca is also extremely food motivated (read: adorable beggar), so she’ll try her luck with counter surfing—but she responds very well to redirection. She’s crate-trained, potty-trained (may need a short refresher), and absolutely adores munching on ice cubes.
