She’s smart, opinionated, and deeply devoted once she decides you’re hers. And while she may be hearing-impaired and a little fuzzy in the vision department, don’t let that fool you—Abby knows exactly what she wants. And she’s spectacular.---Condensed Staff Assessment Notes: Abby is an energetic elderly lady with some hearing difficulties and minor visual impairment, so gentle communication is best. It`s recommended to approach her from underneath her chin, as she prefers not to be picked up. She thrives on human interaction and enjoys playing with toys during engagement. Abby is an excellent leash walker and loves to explore. She tends to eat quickly, indicating low resource guarding. Abby greets strangers appropriately if they don’t reach for her, but she shows aggression during play with other dogs.
