My story

Mando II is an 80-pound snuggle bug with a goofy personality and a heart as big as Texas. Check out his adventures on his Instagram: @mandothefoster At just four weeks old, Mando was rescued on a freezing winter night alongside his littermates. They were found abandoned in a box, cold and barely clinging to life. With round-the-clock care, Mando and his siblings made it through, but life had other plans for this little guy. What started as a temporary foster situation turned into five years of love, growth, and dedication to preparing Mando for the forever home he truly deserves. When Mando was about a year and a half old, he was attacked by another dog, leaving him scared and reactive. But through focused training and lots of patience, Mando has come a long way. Today, heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s no longer reactive in public and enjoys outings to the parkâ&#194&#128&#194&#148especially to watch the ducks. While heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s still a bit wary of dogs in close quarters, heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s shown that with the right environment and guidance, he can continue to thrive. Mando adores car rides (bonus points if chicken nuggets are involved!), short walks, and curling up for naps. His goofy antics and love for blankets will keep you laughing, and his favorite thing in the world is bedtime cuddles. Mando is great with cats and small animals and would do best as the only dog in a home. Heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s neutered, vaccinated, house-trained, and leash-trained. Mando does have seasonal flank alopecia, which simply means that for part of the year, he sports a little less fur than usual. It doesnâ&#194&#128&#194&#153t hurt him or affect his healthâ&#194&#128&#194&#148it just makes him a little less fluffy for a while. But rest assured, heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s just as lovable, snuggly, and full of personality no matter the season! Mando has been on quite the journey, and now heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s finally ready for his next big adventure: a forever home where he can shower his family with love and be the happy, goofy boy he was always meant to be.
