Ask us about our many adoption benefits that include free exams, pet insurance, and other discounts! HOW THIS ANIMAL IS WITH: CATS: Good with other cats but fine to be a single kitty. DOGS: Unknown KIDS: Unknown KNOWN LIKES: Pets, wet food, cave beds, Cat TV, favorite mouse toy, cardboard scratcher. KNOWN DISLIKES: Being picked up by strangers - you've got to get to know someone first! ABOUT THIS ANIMAL: Pod originally came to us from a shelter in Maryland, and we're getting to see her personality come out more as time goes on. She may be shy or a little nervous in a new or busy environment, and once she warms up and settles in, she loves getting pets from people and will become more confident in her surroundings. She will relax with you on couch, may even watch TV, and finds comfort in sleeping close by her person for bedtime. Pod has a gentle meow, sometimes silent, that comes out when she is excited for food or affection! Her purring is also noticeable when she is feeling happy and content. Pod does like to play some with strings and her mouse toy and finds amusement in batting around small balled up pieces of paper around the room like a soccer kitty. We think she'd be happy to be your only kitty and would fit right into a calmer home!
