While she keeps her distance, there’s one thing that can bring her out of her shell—Temptations treats! Kamora’s love for treats knows no bounds. She’ll eagerly come across the room at the sound of the treat container and may even take a treat directly from your hand. Kamora gets along beautifully with other cats and would make a wonderful companion for your resident feline. She has limited experience with dogs but might adapt to a calm, well-mannered pup with slow introductions. A former feral mama, Kamora has come a long way in her journey. She allowed her kittens to be socialized but wasn’t too keen on human interaction herself. Now, while she still doesn’t seek out pets or cuddles, Kamora has learned to trust a bit more. She may sniff your hand or occasionally tolerate a sneaky pet during treat time. When it comes to play, Kamora shows her spirited side! She loves batting toy mice and balls around the room and can’t resist a good play session with a wand toy—her favorite is DaBird. You’ll often find her lounging in a cozy bed or on a climber, enjoying her quiet time. Kamora’s ideal home is a calm, quiet environment with adults or children who understand her independent nature. She would do best with adopters who are patient and willing to celebrate small victories as she gains confidence and settles in. While it may take time to earn Kamora’s trust, the reward is a unique and special bond with this remarkable kitty. Kamora won’t shower you with affection, but she’ll be the perfect distant roommate—quiet, undemanding, and respectful of your space.
