My story

Affectionate • Good Lookin' • Snuggler Kennen is an extraordinarily handsome tabby boy! He's a super sweet cat, but it takes him some time to be comfortable with new people. But your patience will be repaid in so many ways. Because once Kennen feels safe with you, he will follow you around the house, constantly trying to get pet. He'll give you small meows to let you know he wants attention. He will be at your side like a heeling puppy. Sometimes he also gets his zoomies. He will run from room to room, getting his energy out. He's not overly playful other than that and mainly just wants to get pet! So once he ran the length of the house or apartment, he will return for those snuggles. He got along great with two other cats and a golden retriever in his previous home, but being shy with new circumstances Kennen will need the appropriate slow introduction. He’d likely do well with a friendly crew we can tell Because when he feels comfortable he likes other creatures and even understands that "uncomfortable" feeling in them. Because you see, he’s also got a gentle, comforting side—he used to sleep with a child who had nighttime anxiety, offering sweet, purring reassurance. Before he came to APA!, Kennen unfortunately was declawed. Because of this he'll need to stay an indoor cat. Knowing he is at a disadvantage without his claws he has no desire to venture outside anyway! If you’re looking for an affectionate companion cat who will be your shadow and curl up with you at the end of the day, Kennen is your guy! All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
