Meet VRBO (pronounced Ver-bo)! VRBO was brought into Los Angeles Animal Care and Control - Lancaster Shelter after someone thought they saw him get hit by a car. VRBO had abrasions on his nose, but thankfully, he was otherwise uninjured. He was placed on a stray hold but not claimed. That's when we entered the picture! We scooped this handsome guy up on January 14th to become a Frosted Face. VRBO is estimated to be 10 years old and weighs 77 lbs. He is so sweet, and enjoys attention. VRBO went on a two-week Frosted Fling, so we could learn more about him in the comforts of a home. He earned this rave review from his Fling Mom: "VRBO loves all people - kids, women, men - all alike and wants to say hi to every single person he sees on walks. When meeting kids, he would sit and wait for them to approach, didn't jump, and would give them kisses! VRBO is a cuddle bug, and his favorite part of the day is when his human comes home. He throws himself on the ground and waits for belly rubs with whines of excitement. VRBO would often just sleep by the front door while I was gone at work waiting for me to come home. That said, he is great when home alone, completely potty trained, has no separation anxiety, and isn't destructive. VRBO was always SO excited for his walks and would run down the hallway at full speed wagging his tail. His max was about mile and a half, and then he would start to get tired. VRBO likes to take lots of naps during the day, but he also enjoys playing with his ball or toys. Sometimes before bedtime he would get a little antsy, but a bone or treats in a mental stimulation toy helped with that. VRBO loves his people, is a great car passenger, and a very respectful house guest! He can’t wait for his forever family." As wonderful as VRBO is with humans, he is not well-socialized with other animals. Since he needs to be the only dog in his household, VRBO is eligible to foster through our Molly & Me Project, a paid foster program.
