My story

Meet Winky! This affectionate girl was transferred to PK from a high intake shelter in the area, where she landed after being picked up as a stray. Winky is around 3 years old, weighs 62 lbs., and is a Pit Bull Terrier mix. Winky LOVES hugs and cuddles! She is very tolerant of being handled all over. She’s playful, too, enjoying a good ball chase, a game of tug-of-war, or a session of zoomies. Winky is a strong girl and is working on perfecting her leash skills, so her adopter will need to be able to handle a strong, large dog. Given her size, Winky would prefer a home without little ones, but we believe older children would be fine. Winky is open to meeting other dogs and can be cat-tested upon request.
