Yes, Chain Chomp has lived with various dogs and rubbed affectionately against a large dog in his foster home. He will set boundaries if needed. Good with cats? Yes, he has played and gotten along well with resident cats in foster care and is very respectful of them. Good with kids? He needs a home with people who will learn his cues and treat him gently, so he may do best in an adult household. Energy level: Low to Medium. He is a lazy boy who relaxes, snoozes, sits in laps and checks in for affection many times throughout the day. He enjoys wand toys, too! Animal Characteristics: Chain Chomp is a big love bug who will actively seek out affection and likes being pet on his terms. He is confident and friendly, and will do well in a mellow household with cat savvy humans who are willing to learn his cues and make him feel safe. He can feel overwhelmed and express himself strongly if he is not treated gently or if he is afraid of being grabbed. Chain Chomp: affectionate, handsome, and a little bitey. He adores pets and chin scratches… right up until his internal ‘pet-o-meter’ hits max capacity. Then, true to his name, he delivers a swift chomp to let you know playtime’s over.
