My story

Meet Lego! Lego entered Los Angeles Animal Services at Chesterfield Square as a stray, and when he wasn't claimed, we scooped him up on January 20th to become a Frosted Face. Lego is estimated to be 8 years old, and he weighs 67 lbs. Lego is a beautiful, loving GSD who would be a great fit for you if you want: * A dog and people-friendly best friend! On his field trip, he loved saying hi to all potential friends. * A walking and running companion! Lego does great on leash, and walks right by your side. He doesn't pull or jump. * A sweet sidekick, who will check up on you to make sure you're following him or stay by your side great car buddy! Lego does fantastic in a car! Since being at FFF, Lego went on a 3-day Frosted Field Trip with a volunteer, and he earned this rave review: "Lego did amazing on our camping trip! He was quite the magnet and was very invested in whatever I was doing. Lego pulled a little on the leash at first after leaving FFF but very quickly started walking right by my side, stopping when I stopped, walking when I walked, running when I ran. He was interested in saying hi to other people and dogs, but he never pulled hard to get to them and very politely sniffed everyone with no jumping. Lego did great in the truck on the drive up through the hour of windy roads in Julian and Mt. Laguna (no signs of carsickness at all and took a good nap in the back)! I kept Lego on a long lead at the campsite, and he would come back whenever I’d call his name or talk to him (though he was mainly by my side watching me do stuff the entire time.) Overall, Lego was such an easy dog to handle, and he has such a sweet personality and life in him. He would chase down pinecones as I would throw them, and then immediately make sure I was following. He didn't chase after any squirrels at all either! Lego will be a great companion to his forever family." Drop by to meet Lego between 10 AM and 3 PM any day of the week!
