My story

Mittens is a very lonely girl, who lost her home in hurricane Milton. She was at home alone while the storm raged, and then she spent nine more, long days in her flooded home alone before she was rescued by A Kitten Place.  Maybe more importantly, she lost her trusted human companion.  It was a man, and nowadays she perks up whenever she hears a man’s voice. She misses him.  This sweet girl needs a loving home where she is the only cat. She will flourish with a lot of attention and love. Mittens does occasionally strike out with a paw or a growl inappropriately, but she is easily distracted by a toy or a treat. Her foster believes this is a temporary issue due to her recent trauma, and that it can be resolved with a little knowledge and patience.  ##2207344##

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Mittens, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
