Meet Arthur! A spirited two-and-a-half-year-old Rottsky (Rottweiler/Siberian Husky mix) from Terrell, TX, whose zest for life is as vibrant as his striking black-and-tan coat. Weighing in at 85 pounds of pure energy and personality, Arthur is a playful adventurer who thrives on long walks filled with exciting sniffs and the satisfying crunch of his favorite chew toys. This handsome guy has mastered the art of “sit,” “stay,” “down,” and “here,” showcasing his eagerness to learn and love for positive reinforcement training. Arthur is the ultimate companion for a human-centered home. He adores people and has a friendly, outgoing personality that makes him the life of any room he enters! He’s always ready to soak up all the attention (and snacks!) you’re willing to share, making training sessions both effective and enjoyable. Whether you’re unwinding after a day’s work or tackling an adventurous weekend hike, Arthur will be right by your side, keeping up with his endless energy and enthusiasm. However, Arthur’s ideal home would be one where he’s the sole pet and where children aren’t part of the household mix. He’s not a fan of other animals, and his high prey drive makes co-existing with cats or dogs stressful. Arthur’s perfect family would be an active person or couple who can offer him the physical activity and mental stimulation he needs. While he’s high-energy outdoors, Arthur is excellent when left alone for short periods and is already crate-trained and house-trained. With consistent routines, twice-daily feedings, and plenty of exercise, this affectionate, food-motivated boy will shine as your loyal, four-legged best friend!
