Shay

My story

Shay is a very sweet bubbly girl. She is full of energy and zest for life. She enjoys playing tug and fetch and going for car rides, walks and hikes. She would really love an active family and a yard where she can run and play. When she’s tired out she likes to cuddle and cozy up with her people. Shay has been doing well with training she’s learned sit, lay down, touch and paw. She still needs some help working on her manners as she can be very jumpy when excited and pulls hard on her leash which can be a bit difficult to manage since she’s a big strong girl. She would thrive in a home that will provide her with structure and she would probably do best with someone who has large working breed experience. She seems to be a little bit people selective and it can take her a little while to warm up to people. She’s growled and barked at people on a few instances, but was able to be redirected easily. She seems to like calm quiet environments. She’s been frightened of train and car noises. Shay is working on her house training and she’s greatly improved. She would enjoy having a yard to relieve herself in as she usually won’t go while on a walk.
