My story

What my friends at ACC say about me:I would appreciate slow introductions to new people and places to help me feel safe.I would do best in a home with only adult humans.I am playful and cute!I will need daily physical activity to keep me healthy and happy!I am finding the shelter a little overwhelming, but when it's just you and me and some peace and quiet you'll see what a love bug I am.A Volunteer Wrote: This sweet little boy deserves a more fitting name as he is anything but! Think spring flowers and hearts and Valentine's Day treats and you will begin to conjure up this gentle, good, good boy who walks perfectly on a leash, appears housetrained, and had zero issues walking past other dogs on the street. He's timid in the shelter but our hearts melted when we sat down, he crawled into our lap, and exhaled with relief that he had found a safe and loving place to perch for a bit. We're so hoping that this love of a dog--who his former owner describes as "shy and playful"--might show off his tricks for you: He knows, sit, come, and stay, and oh my goodness, does he know how to love.
