My story

Meet Felicia, a striking beauty with her rich chocolate-colored coat, upright ears, and golden eyes that seem to peer right into your soul. This amazing mama dog has lovingly cared for her eight puppies and now she’s ready to find HER forever home. Felicia is the epitome of love and nurturing. She has a kind heart and a gentle spirit, always ready to shower affection on those around her. Despite her short legs—what we affectionately call a “low rider” in rescue—she’s a good-sized dog, weighing in at 38 pounds. Her unique appearance, which makes her look like she stepped right out of a cartoon, is sure to turn heads wherever she goes! She is eager to please and knows basic commands. Oh and one more thing….. she has no tail! We believe Felicia might be a mix of Corgi and Chocolate Lab, but as with many rescue dogs, the DNA results might surprise us. One thing is for sure: she’ll be a showstopper as you walk around town, proudly showing off your beautiful new family member. Could Felicia be the one you’re looking for? This includes: spay/neuter (at our vet), vaccines (dhpp, bordetella, rabies), microchip, health certificate, fecal test and our dogs are on preventatives for fleas/ticks/heartworm.
