My story

What my friends at ACC say about me:I lived with children in my previous home.I am a cat that is in need of a lap! I can't wait to be your new lap cat.Jerry was at the back of the cubby sitting on his haunches with sideways ears and dilated pupils. He sniffed treats and then allowed petting while remaining fairly tense. He appeared as if he wanted to hide, and if let loose in his new home, he might do just that. He should be given a small room with time to decompress in his new home he's a sweet boy who needs some time. Jerry appreciates attention, tolerates attention and petting but appears to be moderately fearful or stressed in the shelter. He may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to his new home. We recommend that he go to a home with some cat experience preferred and be well counseled in fearful cat behavior.
