My story

Can you please help me? My name is Bumble and I daydream about resting on a deck outside in the sun for hours, without hearing the sounds of other scared dogs. You see, I have been living in a shelter all of my life and I am now over a year old. This really isn`t a good place for puppies like me and my buddy Acorn (available for adoption too), who has also only experienced shelter life as a puppy.My siblings and I were surrendered as new puppies to a shelter in Phoenix and they all found their forever homes, but I wasn`t chosen. I guess those city folks didn`t think that I was cute enough because of my underbite. I have big brown eyes with beautiful mascara markings and big soft ears. Some people think my face resembles a pretty laughing hyena and some people think I have boxer features.It`s well known that the people of Sedona and our many visitors are more carefree and accepting of all appearances, shapes and sizes of dogs and people so I was transferred here to get a jump start on a new life. I am hoping that my miracle family is here looking for me!I am a 1-year-old male pup with a heart full of joy to share. I love talking long walks and playing on the red rock trails. I am a sweet boy with a big smile that will make you smile. I`m ready to learn, ready to bond, and most of all-ready to love someone that is all mine and wants me as much as I want them. I really hope that you have a yard or outside deck!I am shy with new people but I warm up very quickly when I am offered a yummy treat, and a head rub! Whether it’s a long walk or a lazy afternoon, I will my happiest when I am by the side of a warm, welcoming and kind human. I would be the best loyal canine companion for any loving home. If you`re looking for a trustworthy and devoted companion with a heart as big as their smile, I might just be your perfect match.I am still just a puppy though in need of a parent and family to teach me about life outside the shelter. I have not had a teacher or coach of my very own and I need additional training to learn dog skills like sit, stay, and going potty outside. In the shelter I go many hours overnight without an outside break so I need you to teach me about routinely peeing on the plants and gravel outside. I get along really well with other dogs so perhaps you already have a dog who can show me the ropes and help me learn these new skills? Just bring them along with you to the shelter so we can make sure that our pe
