My story

Introducing Pandora! Pandora is the sweetest senior girl who came to us in awful shape back in the summer! She was spotted on a really dangerous block completely shaved, flea ridden, whiskers cut off, sunburnt, cigarette burned, and only 5lbs (as you can see in her photos the then and now) When we first saw her, we didn’t know what her overall health would look like and knew it would be a long road for her! We are happy to report she is now a healthy 8lbs, all of her hair has grown back, and she’s feeling much better than she likely has in a very long time. She was microchipped back in 2013 so we know she’s somewhere around 11/12 years old. Pandora’s favorite activity is sitting on her favorite persons lap while she gets pets & affection! She’s a calm older gal who’s really just looking for a nice retirement home with people who want to love her! She had a full senior panel done and all of her levels were within range other than some mild anemia. She does have a chronically stuffy nose that is likely due to a polyp however she does have a heart murmur and since her minor symptoms don’t hold her back, we have opted to not risk putting her under anesthesia to check. Her adopter should be able to manage her symptoms easily with some basic care! She eats, drinks, snuggles, uses her litter box, and sometimes even plays! Pandora’s life until this point was not ideal but we’re so happy that she made her way to us and will hopefully find the perfect home for her! She’s currently sharing a space with multiple other cats in foster care and while she doesn’t love them, she’d be able to co exist just fine with other cats who respect her space.
