My story

Meet Liam, a super sweet 2 year old neutered male terrier mix, weighing about 60 lbs! Liam was originally taken into rescue as a puppy, along with his 2 sisters Emmalee and Mila. He was adopted in May 2023 and sadly, due to circumstances that were NOT his fault, he has made his way back to PRL. We made a promise to Liam that we will find his true FUREVER home this time, as that is what this sweet boy deserves!  Liam is a friendly boy who can be a bit timid at first, but he warms up quickly once he knows you are safe. He LOVES to cuddle! He is good with dogs, cats, people, and kids. He is housebroken (expect accidents the first few days while he is learning a new routine) and crate trained. A 100% good doggo! As a small rescue that does not receive government funding or grants, we rely on adoption fees to stay afloat. Adoption fees help cover the following: vaccinations, wellness exams, heartworm/4DX testing, parasite prevention, spay/neuter (age-appropriate), microchipping, transport expenses, and other rescue-related overhead/administrative costs. Paws Rescue League, Inc is an all-inclusive rescue that does NOT only rescue puppies and young, healthy dogs.  We make a point to also rescue seniors, dogs with special needs, moms, and other “less desirable” dogs, knowing that we will likely incur higher veterinary expenses and that these dogs may take longer to get adopted.  As such, an individual adoption fee is not only reimbursing PRL for expenses directly related to that dog, but it is also helping us to continue our mission of taking in dogs that would otherwise be too much of a financial burden to save.
