My story

Amor strutted into MACC just after Christmas, and while he`s been patiently waiting, he`s pretty sure his future family is out there somewhere! With his ombre-spotted ears and derpy grin, this 4-year-old heartthrob is ready to woo his way into your home—and your lap (even if he’s 63 lbs. of thicc love).True to his name, Amor is all about the amour. He adores humans, snuggles, and basically any form of attention. If he could propose to an oversized tennis ball, he absolutely would. But let’s talk about his skills. This guy has hops for days, an impressive high jump, and a solid start on leash manners (though he’s a strong boy and still working on perfecting them). He’s housebroken, treat-motivated, and knows his basic commands—if you’ve got snacks, he’s got tricks!As for canine companions, while Amor enjoys the company of some dogs, he can be a bit dramatic when something doesn’t sit right with him. He tends to “Gordon Ramsay” his way through it (overcorrect). We hear “bark bark bark”, which translates to `Don`t just stand there like a big f—ing muffin!” and “Hey, panini head, are you even listening to me?” or “You f—ing donkey!` Watch him in Hell’s Kitchen - oops, we mean, in playgroups, here: https://bit.ly/macc-playgroups-amor.To spare a second dog’s self-esteem, Amor would do best either as an only dog or in a home with a skilled handler and good dog-to-dog management. He’s dog-selective and prefers softer-energy dogs who play politely. Cats, however, are not on his VIP list.Amor thrives with a consistent routine and would love a fenced yard to romp in. He’s crate-trained (though he has a vendetta against plastic kennels), and while he’s the bestest boy, his enthusiasm and clumsy nature make him better suited for a home without small children.If you’re looking for a hilarious, loving, and endlessly entertaining best friend, Amor is waiting to steal your heart—and maybe your snacks.
