This sweet girl can be very nervous of new people but once she warms up she is a ball of love and energy. She loves to zoom around with her toys and would play all day if you let her. She is looking for a patient family where she can learn that the world is not as scary as it seems.IN-SHELTER NOTES & IDEAL HOMESIZE:48 poundsHOME TYPE:No apartments or shared entrances as she can be quite nervous and she is sound sensitiveCHILDREN:No - must be an adult only home - very nervous and touch sensitive requiring slower introductions but improving dailyCATS & SMALL ANIMALS:Yes- cats potentially compatible with slow proper introductionOTHER DOGS:Yes- Dogs potentially compatible with slow proper introductionACTIVITY/ENERGY LEVEL:High; will need a lot of daily exercise, enrichment and mental stimulation.HUMAN COMPATIBILTY:Previous large dog owner TRAINING REQUIREMENTS/NEEDS:Three in-person training sessions required to work on socialization, basic training, manners (jumpy/mouthy), sound and touch sensitivity, and resource guarding.HUMAN SOCIAL IN SHELTER:working on human socialization but can be very fearful and will need extra time and/or multiple meetsFAVOURITE THINGS:Getting all the love from people she is comfortable with and going for long walksFOSTER AND FIELD TRIP INSIDER INFO: (please note that dogs may behave different in foster`s care than adopter`s care and the following cannot be guaranteed)HOUSE TRAINING:She has shown that she is mostly house trained in foster care, and will tell you when she needs to go. If she goes and stands next to her leash and harness, it means she has to go out. CAR MANNERS:Fantastic. She will sometimes whine a bit in the car but is generally quiet and happy to just watch the world go by or lay down in the back seat. LEASH MANNERS / ON WALK MANNERS:Bunny is getting much better on the leash. She is generally very good at staying beside you but also does like to explore around on her walks and will sometimes pull. Very good at stopping when you tell her. CRATE TRAINING:Working on it! So far she has gone in twice with treats but she doesn`t stay in for long. KNOWN TRAINING CUES:Sit, Hold (aka heel) and Lay Down. HUMAN SOCIAL:
