My story

Meet Butter—an energetic, lovable goofball who lives life at full speed and with his whole heart. Butter is always on the move. Whether he's chasing a ball, exploring a trail, or zooming around the yard, this boy is happiest when he's active and engaged. He adores his people and is always ready for the next adventure. Toys? Yes. Walks? Absolutely. Fetch? Count him in. He’d likely make a fantastic jogging or hiking buddy. He’s never met a person he didn’t like (though he hasn’t been around kids yet), and he’s down for just about anything—as long as it doesn’t involve riding in the car. Butter doesn’t get carsick, but he finds vehicles deeply suspicious and prefers to avoid them once the ride is over. It’s just one of his quirky little charms. Butter is best as your one and only. While he seems interested in other dogs, his social skills are a bit chaotic. Think: frat-bro energy. He wants to engage but often misreads cues and gets a little too rowdy, which can escalate quickly. Because of this, he isn’t suited for dog parks, multi-dog homes, or homes with cats. But if you're looking for a smart, silly, adventure-loving best friend to share your life with—Butter is your guy.
