My story

*NEEDS FOSTER OR ADOPTER* Meet Timber, a 1 year old, 40lb pup with a heart full of love and a touch of shyness. Timber came to Dogs Deserve Better Blue Ridge from an outdoor pen, and now he’s ready to embrace life as a cherished family member. Timber adores people and enjoys car rides and small adventures, though he can be a bit hesitant in new environments. With patience and positive experiences, his confidence will surely grow. He gets along well with most dogs but can be a little selective, particularly with black Labs—why, we’re not sure, but he knows what he likes! Highly food-motivated, Timber is eager to learn and thrive in a loving home. He hasn’t been cat-tested but doesn’t display a strong prey drive. Are you ready to give Timber the care and guidance he needs to shine? Whether fostering or adopting, Timber is excited to be your loyal, soulful companion!
