My story

Hello there! My name is Hickory, and I'm thrilled to introduce myself to you. I'm a charming male tabby kitten, born in November 2024 under the open sky. Along with my two brothers, Catalpa and Redwood, I was rescued in January, and we've been reveling in the comforts of indoor life ever since. Let me share a few of my favorite things about being inside: Food - There are so many delicious varieties to sample! Water - I simply can't get enough. Toys - Midnight playtime is my specialty, haha! Cats - I adore making new feline friends and playing with them. Treats - Yummy Churu and chicken baby food are my favorites. Blankets - There's nothing like a cozy nap on a soft blanket or pillow. I'm on the lookout for a loving home that will patiently support me as I grow and adapt to my new surroundings. I promise to be your best friend if you give me the chance! I really enjoy other cats and would love to have a kitty friend in my new home. Hickory is currently in a foster home. If you are interested in meeting him, please send a message here, or email adopt@ahsem.org. Adoption fees are as follows: $155 for a single cat or kitten, $195 for a pair of cats or kittens. When adopting a cat from AHSEM the adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate core vaccines, microchipping, combo tested (for FIV/FeLV), and basic wellness care including deworming and flea treatment.
