Rodeo

My story

This Foster Writes: Rodeo is a playful and curious critter. He likes to know what you're up to, and will follow you around the house to participate in what you're doing. Very energetic, he loves his toys and running around, but also enjoys his alone time cozying up underneath the bed.A volunteer writes: Rodeo was found in a plastic bag and could use a little help. He's feeling overwhelmed by the shelter and acclimating to it has come neither quickly nor easily. Snuggled in his den when I visited, I offered Rodeo a treat in friendship. When Rodeo realized I was there, he flew out of his den and onto his cubby shelf in a flash. Wrapping his tail tightly around his tucked little paws, Rodeo took a deep breath and I just really felt for him. I've never been in his situation, but I've also felt unsteady and in need of some grace. We don't know much more about Rodeo's history and he's understandable not a happy camper here with us. Rodeo's allowed some pets with the scratcher tool and doesn't seem to want to take anyone up on their friendship and treat offers, but we know there's a patient family out there who will give Rodeo the chance to come around and be the cat he's meant to be.
