My story

Chatty, Chill, Love Bug Malcolm is one of the sweetest boys you’ll ever meet. He warms up quickly to both his environment and the people around him. He's a very chatty boy who absolutely loves being scratched. He’s also incredibly gentle—(only rare and gentle nibbles) —which makes him perfect for someone looking for a kind, well-behaved buddy. Malcolm will undoubtedly be your best friend. He loves being near his people, asking for affection and talking to you when you’re around. He also does very well when left alone—he can entertain himself with toys or enjoy a cozy nap. Playtime is one of his favorite parts of the day, especially when feather toys or small solo-play toys are involved. He also loves covered spaces where he can relax and feel safe, like a cat tree. But above all, his favorite thing in the world is a cardboard scratcher—he adores it. Malcolm has a chill and affectionate nature, but other cats make him pretty nervous. He would thrive best as the only pet in a household where he can take in all of your love and attention. He’d also do best in a relatively quiet home, though he’s okay with a little noise before getting a bit spooked. Over the last few months, Malcolm gained so much confidence in his temporary home, and we’re certain that with the care and patience of a forever home, he’ll continue to grow even more. He’s got a ton of spunk and is full of personality. If you’re looking for a sweet, loving, and fun companion, you’ll be so glad you’ve adopted Malcolm.
