My story

Hey, I'm Markos. I'm a grey and white boy kitty, and I'm about one year old. I am pretty friendly from behind the bars of my cage, though I might be a bit skittish if you actually open my cage up and try to pet me. I can't help it; it's just pretty overwhelming here at the shelter, and I'm in the hall where I hear the dogs barking. I don't know if I like dogs or not, but I don't love their barking here. I'm a curious guy though, and I do like to play with toys if you bring me some to play with! [Markos is currently available for adoption at Fur Babies Cat Cafe in Carrollton.]    The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip. Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA. Phone: 770-214-3590. The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.    March 3, 2025, 11:06 am
