At 4 years young, Nami is a bundle of joy and energy, ready to race into her forever home. But don't let her active demeanor fool you; she's as brainy as she is bouncy, knowing a plethora of commands from 'sit' to 'stay', and even 'into your house' for kennel time. Nami's foster dad reports she's like a shadow, loyally following her humans wherever they go, whether it's a thrilling hike or just a trip to the fridge. Nami is a pro at making human friends (seriously, she's never met a two-legged friend she didn't like). She lives harmoniously with her current canine roommates yet prefers dogs that match her size and spunk. As for the felines and the furballs smaller than her? Let's just say she's better suited to a cat-free, small dog-free zone. This girl's got an explorer's heart with a prey drive to boot, meaning she's more suited for adventures in a securely fenced yard rather than a leisurely off-leash park. While independent and sometimes a tad sassy, Nami is very trainable, responding best to a confident handler who knows how to channel her intelligence and energy positively. Her ideal home? One with a yard where she can sunbathe after a good run, and a family that enjoys active living as much as she does. Although she's not yet tested with tiny humans, she's shown she's good with teenagers who can respect her space and pace.
