My story

Meet Remy Lynn - 7 year old silver female Weimaraner - currently being fostered in Mercer, Pennsylvania. Remy is looking for a quiet home with a single man who's looking for companionship. Okay - let's be honest - Remy Lynn is looking for a Sugar Daddy... Someone to cuddle with while watching a good movie on TV, munching on popcorn & Milkbones. Remy Lynn loves going for walks and her gentle nature with accepting snacks show shes ready to keep learning and growing. Remy Lynn will need continued work on leash reactivity and her guarding behavior (no kids in the home). She will thrive in a calm and structured home where she can be the only dog. Remy Lynn is a sweet dog who's been making progress, especially with her bond to foster Dad Mark. She will need an owner who understands her needs: reactive on her walks - doesn't like cars, other dogs, and people. She needs to be introduced to people properly - outdoors and slowly. Remy needs a routine and time to build her confidence so she can learn to not be so afraid of new things. GLWR believes Remy is a dog with a lot of potential once shes in the right environment with the right person who understands her needs. In her foster home for a month now, Remy has made amazing strides, especially with her comfort in receiving belly rubs and settling into a routine.
