Yogi

My story

Yogi, date of birth, 8-05-16, is a 75 lb. white and brown parti St. Poodle. His family lost their job and had to move and couldn't take Yogi with them. He lived with his human parents and another dog. Yogi may seem somewhat aloof when you first meet him, but after he gets to know and trust you, he becomes very loving. He is definitely an "alert" dog. If he sees someone outside he will run to the window barking, otherwise he is quiet. He is house and crate trained and once he knows where the door is to go outside to do his business he will come over to you and give you a paw and then walk to the door. Sometimes he just goes to the door. I let him out often and he always goes out, does his business and then comes to the door to come in. He prefers to be in the house more than outside. Most of the time he will lay beside whomever he picks as his person, but he loves everyone. He truly is a gentle giant. He didn't live with children, so I will not place him with children. He was around grandkids who visited. Yogi is looking for a retirement home, with a loving family, to live out the rest of his life. Maybe you are that family.
