Rufus

My story

Rufus is short, loving, and has the perfect sized head. We snagged Rufus from our friends over at our local shelter in order to help find his forever home. He is estimated to be 6-7 months and looking for a home that can continue to provide love, patience and some training so he continues to be the best dog he can be. In his foster home he is showing to catch on and take direction very quickly (especially for some treats). So grab a bag, grab a leash and he'll be on his way! His forever home will be new so we always expect there to be a transition with routine and a new environment so potty training and crate training may need a bit of patience again! He is dog friendly, has the potential to be great with kids, and overall as sweet and goofy as can be. Rufus is set to be neutered on 3/20 so while he can not be formally adopted just yet, he is a candidate for foster to adopt if he finds his forever home before then! His adoption fee includes up to date vaccinations and preventatives, neuter, and microchip. If you have any questions before applying please email adopt@chicagorescueauthority.org.
