My story

FOSTER HOME PLEA FOR REMINGTON! Remington just needs a place to land as he loves snuggles and just wants to chill... and most importantly, be the only dog. Remington is a very friendly 7year old, about 110 lbs (needs a diet and more exercise) male Labrador Retriever looking for a home where he can get the quiet, loving life and be the only dog. He is being rehomed due to a fight he had with other dogs in the home, and they have not gotten over it. He was cooped up downstairs all day long with just a little yard to run and his previous owners are looking for a home for him that can give him the life he deserves." He is a true sweet, happy, and playful dog. He is in a temporary foster home until the beginning of May and he is in a lovely apartment on the 6th floor (he does well in the elevator), and he loves to thoughtfully look out the windows and to watch the world go by! We are told "Remington is happy to make new human friends and is pretty laid back. He knows different trick and training commands and Remington is used to sleeping on a human bed which his foster allows as well. He is not crate trained but, Remington can be trusted to roam free in a home when humans are not around, so no need for a crate. He is potty-trained, very well behaved in the house, and is QUITE the cuddler! As you can see from one of his pictures, he likes to be read to as well LOL! He walks fairly well on a leash (his fosters are working on this) but will pull if he sees another dog or squirrel. Remington does not gobble his food and is quite gentlemanly when eating and he is treat motivated." If he doesn't sound almost perfect, we don't know what does!
