My story

Dog Name: Jax Breed: large mixed breed Sex: Male Age: 6 years Weight: 92 lbs Medical Needs: none Housebroken: Yes Crate trained: yes! Jax loves chilling out with us or in his crate. He sleeps in his crate as well. Good in the car: Yes, minus a little car sickness Good on a leash: Yes, until he sees something he wants like a rabbitt...lol. Then he will take you for a run. A good prong collar would be a good idea when walking him. Energy level: Medium. Jax loves to run around outside but is also content to sit inside and chew his toys or bones. Need a fenced in yard: No, but he loves to run around...so walks and visits to a dog park or such would be a good idea. Dog Friendly: Yes, but would recommend he be with large dogs only. He is a big boy. He is sometimes selfish with his toys and has had a tiff or two with my male golden. Nothing huge, but smalls dogs and him probably would not work. If yes, does your foster need another dog in its adoptive homes? No. Cat Friendly: no Kid Friendly: Yes If yes, what's the youngest child you'd recommend they be placed with? Definitely older kids simply because of his size and age. He is kinda set in his ways and sometimes doesn't like to be bothered. He would need kids old enough to respect that. Special traits that make your foster special or that we need to know about them? Jax is just a cool customer! He is fun to play with, be your best buddy, and chill with. He is just all around a cool dude. If you can get past the minor drooling when he sees food, you will have yourself a forever companion. Fosters Location: milton, de Application can be found here: https://www.grrde.org/adoption-application If you already have an approved application on file, email GrassRootsDE@gmail.com and ask the app team to pull your application ##2289339##

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Jax, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
