My story

Dog Name: Ty Breed: Lab/Shepherd Mix Sex: M Age: 4 years (estimated) Weight: 75 lbs Medical Needs: none Housebroken: Yes Crate trained: Absolutely- he doesn’t love going in- but once he’s in he’s a good boy. A little whiny at first, but quickly settles down. Good in the car: loves riding! Good on a leash: He’s decent on a leash- he has chewed through a leash when left alone but when walking he’s ok. Energy level: Pretty high! He loves to romp and be busy. Need a fenced in yard: No, but he will need some work with his leash skills to be an everyday leashed walked dog and longer walks would be recommended. Dog Friendly: Yes If yes, does your foster need another dog in its adoptive homes? No- he would love other dogs but would be content being the center of your attention. Cat Friendly? Yes Kid Friendly: We would recommend 12 and up at this time. We feel he would be an ideal family dog but may jump on or topple over small children. If yes, what's the youngest child you'd recommend they be placed with? 12 and older as he does not realize his size and needs some work on his manners. Special traits that make your foster special or that we need to know about? Ty is a goofy, fun-loving, clumsy boy. He loves to be near his people and be involved in whatever they are doing. He enjoys the company of all other animals he’s met- large and small. He will need some work on basic manners and corrections but he has so, so much love to give and wants to please his people. He would be an ideal dog for an active family and would love going on adventures!
