My story

**PLEASE BE SURE YOU ARE READY TO ADOPT WHEN REQUESTING AN APPLICATION** 3-3-25: "Hello everyone, my name is ZEKE JR., and I am happy to be in a home with my Foster Mom, who is helping me learn the ropes and find my perfect home! You see, I was with a number of other dogs, my previous owner had too many of us, and we just ran loose, and they made the decision to surrender us to the local Animal Control. The people there were so nice to me, heck, I even got to hang out in the Directors office!! Well, my Foster Mom was asked to come meet me, and well, here I am! I appear to be a Kelpie mix, who is about 2 years old, 25 pounds, have all my vaccines, am neutered, chipped and heart worm negative!! I am good with other dogs, but I am a tad on the timid, shy side, which Mom is helping me to overcome. I will definitely do best with a fenced yard, and I do great on the leash. And good news, the shelter workers said I was good with Cats!! I have not been around children, but Mom feels calmer, older children will be best for me. I have a clean, dry crate every morning, and my house manners are coming along good! Do I sound like a sweet, shy boy that would fit into your life?
