My story

Meet Gem, a 1.5-year-old gentle giant Poodle mix whose name perfectly matches her personality-she's truly a gem! Gem is a smart, hypoallergenic girl who already knows how to sit and shake, and despite her size, she thinks she's a lap dog, always craving love and attention. **SPECAIL NOTE** GEM WAS DEEMED AGGRESSIVE BY THE CITY OF KILLEEN,TX DUE TO A DOG BITE. THE BITE WAS MINOR BUT IT DOES NOT CHANGE THE FACT THAT SHE IS NOW LABELED AN AGGRESSIVE DOG AND THAT DESIGNATION WILL FOLLOW HER. WE HAVE TO FOLLOW SPECIAL RULES TO HOUSE HER IN MONTGOMERY TX. YOU WILL HAVE TO CHECK WITH YOUR COUNTY TO SEE WHAT THEIR REQUIREMENTS ARE AND MEET THEM FOR LIFE TO ADOPT HER. IT MAY REQUIRE CONTAINMENT, WALKING HER WITH A MUZZLE AND OBTAINING INSURANCE. PLEASE DO NOT APPLY UNLESS YOU HAVE CONFIRMED WITH YOUR COUNTY WHAT THEIR REQUIREMENTS ARE AND THAT YOU CAN MEET HER NEEDS!!!! Active and full of energy, Gem loves spending time outdoors, making her a great fit for a family that enjoys outdoor activities. She is wonderful with other dogs and even cats, making her a great addition to a multi-pet household. Gem is pretty well potty trained but could use a little help mastering it. She would thrive in a home with older kids who can match her playful spirit and give her the affection she loves. If you're looking for a loving, active, and loyal companion, Gem is the perfect fit! Adoption fee is: $400 ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com. Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee. Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs. EIN # 46-5486022
