My story

Are you in need of a pup who will always put a smile on your face? Then Maya is the one for you! A 10-month-old Terrier mix who weighs 40 pounds and is full of life! Maya is an active girl who’s always ready for the next adventure whether it`s playtime, a walk, or just zooming around the yard! If you`re looking for a companion who will keep you entertained, Maya is the one! As with any young pup, Maya will need plenty of patience and training, but she’s a smart cookie who is eager to learn. She already semi-knows how to sit, and with a little guidance, she’ll be mastering new tricks in no time! We recommend using a harness for walks, as she could benefit from some training in that area to make the experience more comfortable for both of you. Maya would thrive in a home where she has another playful furfriend to keep her company and help her burn off that energy! She would also love a yard where she can run, play, and release all those zoomies! Maya is also heartworm negative! She’s been with HSSM since March 1, 2025, and is now looking for her forever home.
